Sun Inn, Llanengan, Gwynedd - Dog Friendly

The Sun Inn, Llanengan on the tip of the Lleyn Peninsla is a popular venue for locals, walkers, surfers and visitors with well behaved pet dogs to enjoy delicious food and real ales in the convivial atmosphere of a traditional Welsh pub.
Imaginative mouth watering dishes are prepared using fresh local ingredients and served in the inn or in the garden.
There are lovely walks nearby including the coastal path which can be joined at the bustling little waterside village of Abersoch.

Lucky Dog loves Tenby South Beach, Pembrokeshire

On Valentines Day I took Lucky Dog on one of her favourite walks along the South Beach, Tenby. Quite the most glorious 2 miles of golden sands stretching from Tenby all the way to Penally. The more energetic of you might like to go up to the headland at Giltar Point. The views from the top are breathtaking. On a good day you can see as far as Lundy Island and the North Devon coast.

Dogs are not allowed on Tenby South Beach between 1st May & 30th September

Introducing Alfie.....Pembrokeshire

Alfie is very fond of Sandy Haven, Pembrokeshire. He loves to romp on the broad expanse of beach at low tide and run through the pill. The award winning sandy beach is backed by rocky cliffs so there are plenty of rock pools to sniff and explore. There is a free car park above the beach and no dog restrictions at any time of the year. There are no facilities so you will have to carry everything you need. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes above the beach.

Please share your favourite walks. Send your photos and favourite Welsh walks for the
Lucky Dog Blog to annie@qualitycottages.co.uk
