Pen y Fan is the highest mountain in south Wales located in the Brecon Beacons. The views from the top are magnificent. There are several walks to choose from. The easiest and perhaps the most suitable for dogs starts at the Storey Arms Visitor Centre on the A470. Go at any time of the year but do check the weather forecast first. Mist can descend at any time.
