Dog Friendly Historical Attractions in Wales


Cadw (in Welsh - to keep) - is the official guardian of built heritage in Wales.

Dogs on leads are welcome at these Cadw sites:
Blaenavon Ironworks, Caerphilly Castle, Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre, Raglan Castle, Caerwent Roman Town ,Chepstow Castle, White Castle, Skenfrith Castle, Grosmont Castle, Coitty Castle, New Castle in south east Wales, Oxwich Castle, Kidwelly Castle, Cilgerran Castle, Lamphey Bishop's Palace, St Davids Bishop's Palace, Strat Florida Abbey, Flint Castle, Denbigh Castle, Basingwerk Abbey, Ewloe Castle, Rhuddlan Castle, Valle Cucis y Bere and Dolbadarn Castle.
