The Roast Ox Inn in Painscastle, mid Wales has been a country pub at the heart of the community for 500 years. It is full of historic features including open fires, low beams and flag stone floors with a warm and convivial atmosphere. Festivals and events are hosted here throughout the year. Well behaved dogs are welcomed in the bar. Excellent ciders, perriers and ales are always on tap. CAMRA voted the Ox 'Cider pub of the year 2010' . Delicious food is served in the restaurant. Do book early to avoid disappointment.
